The college follows the university regulations in constituting all necessary staff council committees and other statutory bodies that oversee the maintenance and utilization of infrastructure, equipment, facilities and other resources.

1.The college has a building committee that oversees the maintenance of the college infrastructure. Through meetings conducted throughout the year, necessary requisitions are considered, followed up and proposed to the Governing Body for sanctions of funds. All purchases are made and the infrastructural needs met.

2.There are annual contracts for photocopy shop, canteen and bookshop for providing these facilities at subsidised rates for all stakeholders.

3.Pest control for the entire building, time to time refilling of fire-extinguishers and maintenance of computers is done through Annual Maintenance Contracts.

4.The health and hygiene committee along with the support staff (members of house-keeping) of the college is responsible for maintenance of clean and healthy environment.

5.The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled, the maintenance of which is done by Delhi University Computer centre.

6.The college owns a Public Address System for effective communication with students. It is also equipped with CCTV cameras and an RO water plant which ensure overall safety and comfort of each individual.

7.The college library is a member of DELNET and INFLIBNET on annual subscription basis. This membership entitles faculty and students to access 3 crore book titles and 6000 e-journals. The library has 37 computers and 8 printers.

8.The college medical room provides basic medicines and has first-aid facilities. A doctor visits the college on appointed days. One qualified nurse is available on all working days from 9 am to 3 pm. A counsellor has been appointed for students and faculty, who is available once a week for two hours in the college.

9.The Sports Ground is maintained by the Department of Physical Education and Sports Committee for which the expenses are paid through sports fund.

10.The Sports equipment is purchased and maintained by the sports Committee that acquires all requisite services, material and equipment. A stock maintenance is undertaken annually by the Sport Committee to check any lack or wear and tear in equipment including requirements for replacement.

11.The time table committee looks after apt utilization of classrooms.

12.The college runs an NCWEB, SOL and CEC centres in its premises to allow optimum use of college infrastructure throughout the year. The College also caters to National Level competitive exams such as CSIR-NET exam, UGC-NET exam, etc. A faculty superintendent along with a team of faculty members and administrative staff are involved in the execution of these tasks.

13.The college also served as a centre for conduct of examinations for computer teachers of the blind in collaboration with The Blind Relief Association, Delhi.

1.The college caters to services such as AADHAR Card registration and polling station for elections in its premises to make optimum use of the college infrastructure.

Career Counselling/General Counselling

The College has also started career counselling to help students discover their potential and vocation. Consequently many students from our college have been selected by prestigious companies for lucrative jobs. Teachers are available for general counselling.

Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

ICC is constituted every year in order to cater to problems of students like those related to approach roads or PGs. Also, a feedback system has been put in place which provides a channel to students for reporting their grievance or giving any suggestion.

Book Store

The college book store offers a wide selection of text and other books. Various stationery items and mementos are also available.

College Canteen

It is run by a contractor and supervised by the canteen committee consisting of teachers and Students Union. The college canteen serves as a pleasant eating and meeting place for students.


The College is proud of its beautiful lawns, plants and flowers which regularly win trophies from the university. A herbal garden is also maintained. The composting kit within the college premises provides manure for the gardens. Students are encouraged to keep the front lawns clean and untrodden.

ALUMNAE Association

The active Maitreyi Alumni Association regularly organises get-togethers, panel discussions and career counselling events in the college premises. A nominal one-time enrolment fee is charged in the final year from those students who are interested.
